BEHIND THE SCENE OF ISTANA LAMA SERI MENANTI

Malaysia are rich with the culture, customs, the beauty

and the uniqueness. It also rich with the history that act

usually ring with truth. Moreover, it also have a lot of the

 historical place that have been discovered, but still 

preserved, nobody knows the secret.

The most impressed historical place is 

Istana Lama Seri Menanti.

It is located at Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Malaysia. 

Specifically, the location is at :

Bandar Diraja Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan.

The age of the palace is 100 years which it have been built

 on 1902 and belief it or not, it still strong and beautiful.

THE WELCOMING TO THE BANDAR SERI MENANTI

The person who launched the palace is Yang Dipertuan Muhammad Ibni Almarhum Yamtuan Antah.

The great palace must involve the great person during the process. The person who involve during the built of the palace are, Kahar and Taib which are the designer of the blueprint of the palace. They are Malays who made the origin blueprint of the palace. It really shows that, the Malays also have the skills to make a building.

This palace born by the name of three paddy plants those grow surrounding the area named ‘Padi Menanti or the spirit of waiting paddy plant’. In Javanese language, paddy plant means ‘Seri’, so it is converted into Seri Menanti. Then, at the area also the palace have been built.
